Score estimates are not official scores

AP, SAT, PSAT and ACT results on CurveFox are estimates. We build them from the section weights, scoring rules and practice test conversion tables that the College Board and ACT publish. For most exams the cutoffs between scores are not published, and the digital SAT and PSAT are scored adaptively, so we estimate those parts from released data and label the result as an estimate, with its source and the date we checked it. Your real score can be higher or lower. Official scores come only from the College Board or ACT.

GPA and grade results

GPA and grade calculators use common US scales and the scale, weights and credits you choose. Schools and colleges have their own rules for weighting, rounding, retakes and pass/fail courses, so your official GPA and grades come from your school, your teacher or your registrar. Use our results to plan and to check your numbers, not as a replacement for your transcript or gradebook.

CurveFox explains how numbers are calculated. It does not give personal academic, admissions or financial aid advice. For decisions about courses, college applications, credit or scholarships, ask your school counselor or the college you are applying to.

Found a mistake?

Every calculator is tested with worked examples, but mistakes can happen and exam formats change. If a result looks wrong, please tell us with the page and the numbers you entered and we will check it.
