Embed a Free Grade or GPA Calculator on Your Site
Choose your calculator
Teachers, counsellors and school webmasters can drop any of these calculators into a page. Each widget is the same tool as on CurveFox, without the site navigation, with a small credit line that links back here. It resizes to the width you give it and works from 320 px up.
Why schools embed it
- Students stop asking what they need on the final: the calculator shows the number, the formula and the score for every letter grade, right on your page.
- No ads, no accounts, no tracking inside the widget. Inputs stay in the student's browser; nothing is sent to a server. The privacy policy is linked from every page.
- Every result names its source and date: the grading scale, the weighting rule or the official practice test table it uses, with estimates labeled as estimates.
- Your school's rule can be a preset. Send the published scale or semester split and it is added with its source.
How to add it
- Copy the snippet for the calculator you want (above).
- Paste it into the HTML of your class, counselling or student resources page. Most school platforms (Google Sites, WordPress, Schoology, Canvas pages, Weebly, Blackboard) have an Embed or HTML block for this.
- Publish. The widget fills the width of its block up to 720 px and starts at 760 px tall; the included script adjusts its height as inputs and results change.
For counsellors
The GPA calculators cover weighted and unweighted high school GPA, college GPA by credit hours and cumulative GPA with a goal mode ("what do I need next term for a 3.5"). Students can print a one page report or download a CSV from the full page, which is handy for planning meetings. For AP, SAT, PSAT and ACT the estimates come from official section weights and practice test tables and are clearly marked as estimates; official scores come only from the College Board and ACT, and CurveFox is not affiliated with either.
For teachers
Curving a test? The full page grade curve calculator takes a pasted column of scores and shows every student's curved score and letter with five methods, and the test grade calculator prints an easy grader chart. Both run in your browser and are not embed widgets.
The widget sends its height to the parent page as a message ({ source: "curvefox-embed", height }), and the included script uses it to resize the frame automatically. If your platform removes scripts, keep the iframe and allow it to scroll or increase its height. Results are estimates and the credit line says so.
