When do AP scores come out?
AP scores are released in July, about seven weeks after the last exam. The College Board has not named the 2027 day yet; the 2026 scores arrived on Monday, July 6, 2026, in waves through the morning. Sign in to your College Board account before release day so you are not locked out, and if nothing has arrived by August 15, contact AP Services for Students. Until then, the AP score calculator shows the score your practice points point to, with the 2026 score distribution for each exam so you can see how many students earned each score.
Late testing and exam conflicts
If two of your exams share a session, or you are sick or away, ask your AP coordinator about late testing. The College Board publishes separate late testing dates after the main two weeks, and the coordinator orders the alternate exam. Do it early: coordinators set their orders in the fall and spring.
How to plan your practice tests around the schedule
Count back from your exam date. Six to eight weeks out, take one full practice test and enter the points in your exam's calculator to find the section that costs you the most. Two to three weeks out, take a second test and check that the gap to the next score has closed. If two exams fall in the same week, put the harder one first in your study plan, since the calendar will not give you a second chance.
Exams without a calculator yet
6 exams on the 2027 schedule have no CurveFox calculator yet: Italian Language and Culture, Business with Personal Finance, Cybersecurity, German Language and Culture, Networking, Comparative Government and Politics. Business with Personal Finance and Cybersecurity are new national exams with no released scoring data, so any calculator for them today would be a guess. We add an exam once there is public data to build it on, and every calculator labels its cutoffs as official or estimated.
