Questions and answers

How many can you miss on a 10 question test and still get an A?

1 question on the 10 point scale: 9 out of 10 is 90%, the lowest A. A full A with pluses and minuses (93% or more) takes 10 right, so no wrong answers, and the 7 point scale draws the same 93% line.

What is a passing score out of 10?

6 right, 60%, where passing starts at 60% (a D on the 10 point scale), so up to 4 wrong. Where passing starts at 70%, as on the 7 point scale, you need 7 right, 70%.

How much is each question worth on a 10 question test?

10 percentage points, because 100 / 10 = 10. One wrong is 90%, two wrong 80% and three wrong 70%. A half point is worth 5 points.

How many questions can you miss and get a B out of 10?

Up to 2 on the 10 point scale, where 8 out of 10 (80%) is the lowest B and 9 is already an A. With pluses and minuses 8 right is a B-, and on the 7 point scale a B starts at 9 right.
